Mexican pre-columbian temple carving Item # 2101 Pre Colombian carving, This pre Colombian temple face carving or ornament adorned a Mexican temple. This pre Colombian face carving dates from 600 ad and measures 5 inches high by 4 and and one half inches wide by 3 and and one quarter inches deep. It looks as though the material is a form of lava.There is a piece broken of its top which must have happened when it was removed. There is mortised out whole at the top which must have had a ring that help the piece to the temple. This item is in our antiques archives price guide and is NOT AVAILABLE for sale.
